Omas One Small Step pens celebrate moon landing in style
Commemorating the 40th anniversary of the moon landing in style, Italian pen maker Omas has released the limited edition Omas Moon 1969 One Small Step range.
In celebration of space mission Apollo 11, Omas, a renowned creator of fine writing instruments, will produce a strictly limited edition of the pens in honour of the famous date; 21/7/1969.
Just 21 fountain pens and seven roller ball pens in white gold will be released, while 1,969 brass models will be available.
The bodies of both designs feature 3D drawings of the footsteps of astronauts Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin and represent the vision of earth as seen from the moon.
The exclusive white gold edition also boasts a cap embossed with angastados sapphires and diamonds.
The pen series takes its name from the famous words of Neil Armstrong “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind”.
The limited edition white gold pen will carry a price tag of approximately 35,000 Euro.
