Omega launches Winter Olympic Special Edition Watches

Swiss watch brand Omega has built on its Olympic Games partnership by designing three special edition watches to mark the 2014 Winter Games, which take place in Sochi, Russia.

The watchmaker has served as the official timekeeping device of the Olympic Games since 1932 and has now branched out to the Winter version with its latest creations..

The Omega A Seamaster Planet Ocean 45.5 mm “Sochi 2014” boasts a 45.5 mm brushed and polished stainless steel case and a matching bracelet. Its unidirectional rotating diving bezel is fitted with a matt black ceramic ring with a chromium nitride divers’ scale.

The Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean 37.5 mm “Sochi 2014” takes its colours from the flag of the Russian Federation and features a 37.5mm brushed and polished stainless steel case. A white ceramic unidirectional rotating bezel comes with minutes 1 through 5 lacquered in blue and minutes 6 through 10 lacquered in red.

The Omega Sochi Petrograd. comes with a distinctive “tonneau” shaped polished 18-karat yellow gold case and is powered by Omega’s exclusive calibre 2202 with a Co-Axial escapement.

Founded in Switzerland in 1848, Omega has grown to become one of the world's most famous watch brands.
