One Hyde Park Apartment On Sale for World Record £75 Million

By Paul Joseph

A lavish apartment in London’s One Hyde Park development has gone on sale for £75 million - making it the most expensive apartment to ever be offered on the open market.

Spread over an entire floor of the building and featuring two separate wings, the five-bedroom residence offers views across Hyde Park and the rest of west London.

The apartment’s bedroom suites are on the 'city wing' while the living and entertaining spaces are on the 'park wing'.

Located in the up-scale Knightsbridge district of west London, One Hyde Park was built by the Candy Brothers in 2009 and is the most expensive apartment block in the world.

The development includes three retail units (Rolex, McLaren Automotive and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank) and 86 residential properties.

Last year a billionaire paid more than £140 million for one of the penthouses at One Hyde Park in a private deal.
