Porsche To Launch Panamera Turbo S

Priced at £122,623, the new addition to the brand’s Gran Turismo range is billed as offering a unique combination of performance, efficiency, driving dynamics and comfort.

Its 4.8-litre, V8 twin-turbocharged engine delivers 550 hp (410 kW), enabling the car to go from 0-62mph in 3.8 seconds and reach top speeds of 191mph.

Porsche claim that the improved performance compared with the car's predecessor - the Panamera Turbo - are down to enhanced turbochargers with titanium-aluminium turbine wheels and modified engine control management.

The car is also fitted with a Porsche Vehicle Tracking System (VTS), a sophisticated vehicle security package.

On sale from June onwards, the Panamera Turbo S can be test-driven during a complimentary course at the Porsche Experience Centre, located at the Silverstone race track in the UK.
