Porsche Unveils New Boxster and Cayman Models

German luxury sports car maker Porsche has unveiled new versions of both its Boxter and Cayman models.

It is the first time either care have been given the GTS badge since 1963, offering 15 extra horsepower and 7.3 pound-feet more torque more from the S models from the same 3.4 litre flat six engine.

The added power enables the new Boxster GTS to go from 0-60mph in 4.4 seconds, whilst the new Cayman GTS can reach 60mph from standstill in 4.3 seconds.

Other notable enhancements include the Sport Chrono package as standard, along with adjustable suspension and 20-inch alloys boasting a black paintjob to match the cars’ headlight surrounds and other muted trim.

On the interior, the cabins of both cars have been decked out with Alcantara trim and sports seats.

The 2015 Boxter GTS and 2015 Cayman GTS will arrive in showrooms by this summer with prices starting at $73,500 for the Boxster and $75,200 for the Cayman.

Founded by Ferdinand Porsche in Germany in 1931, Porsche has grown to become of the world’s most renowned luxury sports car brands.
