Porsche Unveils New Limited Edition 911

Luxury German car-maker Porsche has ended months of speculation by revealing the new 911 GT3 RS 4.0 Limited Edition.

The car boasts a 4.0-liter flat-six engine with maximum power of 500bhp - the biggest 911 engine in the car brand’s history – and can hit 0-100km/h in just 3.9 seconds.

Equally impressively, the car is able to traverse the famous Nürburgring-Nordschleife circuit in just 7:27 minutes.

The white-painted car has also been given a dynamic façade in honour of the marquee’s motor racing pedigree, whilst standard features include bucket seats, a carbon fibre bonnet and front wings, weight-optimised carpets, red and black Alcantara sports seats and a carbon fibre dashboard trim.

Thanks to the use of lightweight components, the car weighs just 1,360kg and has a power-to-weight ratio of 363 bhp/tonne.

Limited to 600 units worldwide, the car will go on sale in July, priced at €178,596 ($265,350).
