Revamped Porto Sani Tailor-Made for Families Seeking Springtime Solitude

By Paul Joseph

Already among Greece’s most luxurious hospitality offerings, the award-winning Porto Sani resort collection in Halkidiki is set to add another string to its bow with the opening of the fully renovated Porto Sani.

Following a 30-million-euro refurbishment, the resort will open its newly revamped doors in early May, providing Spring vacation seekers with the perfect opportunity for a sun-kissed getaway in an idyllic, tranquil setting.

While prying eyes are currently being kept at bay, among the upgrades and improvements that have been confirmed include 98 brand new luxury suites.

Whether it’s a one- or two-bedroom suite with an outdoor terrace and garden, or a three-bedroom suite with private heated swimming pool, there’s an accommodation type to suit every taste.

Moreover, the resort’s Little Guest concept provides families with a range of high-end baby equipment waiting for them in their suite, allowing parents the luxury of packing lightly. Guests travelling with young babies will also be offered a complimentary baby and toddler advice programme for new parents.

For those on the lookout for rather more adult indulgences, the resort’s makeover also includes a sumptuous upgraded spa.

All guests will also benefit from the Sani Suite Collection, a service offering guests access to an array of privileges and VIP experiences throughout their stay, including a personal concierge, access to an exclusive beach area, and a complimentary chauffeur-driven exploration of the local area with its 1000-acre reserve dotted with pine trees and beautiful beaches.

The resort has also been augmented with a modern Spanish restaurant, El Puerto, helmed by Michelin-starred Chef David Ibarboure and featuring locally sourced ingredients and a wine selection from some of Europe’s most renowned producers.

As well as Porto Sani, Sani Resort features four other distinguished resort hotels - Sani Beach, Sani Club, Sani Asterias and Sani Dunes, all located on the Kasandra peninsula in Halkidiki, 80km southeast of Thessaloniki international airport.

To celebrate the re-opening of Porto Sani, guests staying from 1 June –31 October are eligible for a free full-board upgrade.
