Richard Mille & Sly Stallone Team Up on Million Dollar Adventure Watch
Swiss Watchmaker Richard Mille has partnered with Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone to design a sensational watch featuring everything an intrepid adventurer could need on their wrist.
The souped-up Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure comes with an impressive array of Rambo-approved survival tools including a compass, a level, and a secret compartment containing five water purification tablets.
Stallone is a renowned watch aficionado and has given his name to several special edition timepieces, including the Montegrappa Chaos watch.
However, the story behind this ultimate survivalist’s watch is slightly different, having spawned out of the friendship between the famous actor and Richard Mille himself.
The Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure watch features a Titanium and Carbon TPT case measuring a whopping 50.85mm. It comes with a tourbillon-equipped titanium competition chronograph movement with a 24-hour time display for helping to assess AM vs PM.
Above the dial a separate and removable bezel element that houses the compass and is connected via a bayonet mount. The watch has a level on the side of the case at 4 o’clock so that the compass can be accurately positioned.
Finally, a tiny compartment at 2 o’clock holds five water purification tablets that can each make a litre of water safe to drink in roughly half-an-hour to two hours. The watch is accompanied by a camouflage rubber strap.
Only 20 examples of the Richard Mille RM 25-01 Tourbillon Adventure watch will be made, each with a price tag of $980,000.
Richard Mille was founded in Switzerland in 2001.
