Ritz Carlton Announces Luxury Cruise Collection Itineraries

By Paul Joseph

Upscale hotel group The Ritz Carlton has announced itineraries for its debut luxury cruises, which begin next year.

The hotel group will be transferring its legendary, luxurious service to the sea, offering bespoke cruises on the first of three lavishly built yachts. Each custom-built yacht will offer an intimate journey with space for only 298 guests.

Seven to ten day cruises are on offer beginning from November 2019 with destinations spread across the Mediterranean, Northern Europe, the Caribbean, Latin America, Canada and Northeastern US.

Ports on the visit list range from Barbados, Cartagena, Bordeaux and Copenhagen to smaller yacht-friendly destinations such as Carriacou, Falmouth Harbour, Gustavia, the Balearic Islands, Mykonos and Portofino. Guests will also be able to combine back-to-back voyages without repeating ports.

Offshore, guests can enjoy whatever activities suit their fancy from categories such as Iconic Sights, Stirring the Senses, Cultural Connections, Active Explorations and Epicurean Experiences.

While Iconic sights focuses on introducing guests to historical sites or culturally valuable locations, Stirring the Senses is aimed at guests who are looking for a mind or body wellness experience.

Through Cultural Connections, guests can participate in philanthropic activities, while Active Explorations is tailored towards those looking for adventurous outdoor activities.

Finally, Epicurean Experiences caters for dedicated foodies who can learn where specialty food items come from and visit wineries.

Bookings for the Ritz Carlton cruises begin this June.
