RM Sotheby’s Gears up for Hershey Sale

The final countdown is on to RM Sotheby’s 10th anniversary Hershey sale at Hershey Lodge in Pennsylvania.

A featured attraction of Hershey Meet Week, the auction is known for its presentation of exceptional Brass and Classic Era motor cars, with a strong emphasis on significant American marques.

This year’s event promises to continue the great Fall tradition, lifting the gavel on a fascinating roster of 115 motor cars, 11 motorcycles, and six lots of automobilia, all of which are now available for viewing in the complete digital catalogue here.

The carefully curated docket is headlined by a historic pair of Duesenbergs – the previously announced 1930 Model J Dual-Cowl Phaeton and 1927 Duesenberg Model A/Y Phaeton Prototype – arguably two of the most significant Duesenbergs to come to market in recent years, and each offered following more than 50 years in single-family ownership.

Additional highlights include an authentic and meticulously restored 1935 Auburn Eight Supercharged Speedster Est. $900,000 - $1,200,000); a garage-find 1957 Porsche 356 A 1600 Speedster by Reutter (Est. $200,000 - $250,000); and an early-production 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster.
