Italian fashion house Roberto Cavalli SpA has announced the imminent opening in Milan, Italy of what will be the brand’s largest global flagship store.

Spread over five floors, the store will open in late February, located at 6 Via Montenapoleone, one of Milan’s most prestigious thoroughfares, lined with luxury boutiques.

Each floor is connected by a staircase with steps crafted in mother of pearl, while another notable feature of the store will be a 15-metre high digital wall.

The store opening will also be used to launch a limited edition collection of apparel and accessories for women, including a new fragrance called ‘Absolute Black’ that features over 2,500 hand-applied Swarovski crystals.

Last week, the company’s eponymous founder, Roberto Cavali, announced his resignation as the brand’s CEO and CFO.

The first ever Roberto Cavalli boutique opened in Saint-Tropez, France in 1972.
