Iconic British car marque Rolls-Royce launched a series of stunning new cars at the Dubai International Motor Show on Friday, including a model inspired by the world of yachting.

The Rivieira Phantom Drophead Coupé references the clean lines of classic racing yachts, boasting a palette of marine colours, soft leather, Blenheim wool carpeting and the finest bespoke tailoring.

Rolls-Royce also used the Dubai event, which runs until today, to announce strong sales in the Middle East region. Speaking at the show, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, CEO OF Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, said: The Gulf is an important market for Rolls-Royce, with robust sales being seen across all models.

“The region continues to hold the number one position in the world for Rolls-Royce Bespoke revenue per car, reflecting the highly sophisticated customers that Rolls-Royce attracts.”

Other Rolls-Royce models launched in Dubai included the horse racing-inspired Thoroughbred Phantom Coupé, and the Spirit of Ecstasy, which is covered with diamonds to commemorate 100 years of the Flying Lady.
