Rolls-Royce Phantom Offers Customised Starry Ceiling

By Paul Joseph

British car brand Rolls-Royce offers a customised option for its Phantom range that turns the roof of your luxury car into a panoramic starry night.

First unveiled at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show, the Starlight Headliner is a factory-installed option available on both the Phantom Coupe and Sedan.

Creating an illusion of a dazzling night sky, hundreds of fibre optic lights shine through the perforated leather on the car’s roof. The brightness of these stars can be adjusted to complement the moods of the owner.

They can be made bright enough to support reading or dim enough to deliver a subtle glow. Alternatively, they can be switched off altogether.

The first Rolls-Royce Phantom was launched in 1925.
