Romain Jerome Creates $19,000 Mario Bros Timepiece
To mark the 30th anniversary of Super Mario Bros, Swiss watch brand Romain Jerome have produced a new timepiece themed around the iconic computer game.
Priced at a fraction under $19,000, the limited edition Super Mario Bros. watch features a three-layer dial with enamel-coated pixel figurines depicting the legendary Mario character along with other props that have appeared in the famous game down the years.
Available in a 46mm black titanium case, only 85 pieces of the Romain Jerome Super Mario Bros. watch will be produced
Founded in Geneva, Switzerland in 2004, Romain Jerome has become renowned for its use of natural materials and substances.
Last May, the brand updated its range of Skylab timepieces with two new limited edition versions, each featuring steel unearthed from the Apollo 11 spacecraft placed inside the watches’ bezels.
