Selfridges Launches Men’s Personal Shopping Service

By Paul Joseph

Prestigious London department store Selfridges has launched a dedicated personal shopping service for men.

Run by renowned men’s stylist Joe Ottaway, the new service as Selfride’s Oxford Street location has been created in response to increased demand from the store’s male clientele. It will include anything from cups of coffee to complimentary chauffeurs home to made-to-measure services.

Speaking about the new offering Mr Ottaway said: “Our menswear business has expanded at a rate which we could never have predicted a few years ago. There’s a strong appetite amongst our male clients to experience a service that informs everything we do.

“Something we take huge pride in is our honest and unaffected approach to style advice. The beauty of implementing such a unique proposition in a store like Selfridges is the flexibility afforded by the breadth of offer – we work with guys looking for the latest pieces from A.P.C and Moschino, through to men looking for a bespoke Tom Ford suit.”

The menswear floor at Selfridges houses three private suites, a reception area and a lobby space complete with floor-to-ceiling library.

Selfridges was founded by American entrepreneur Harry Gordon Selfridge in 1909.
