New luxury hotel St. Regis Abu Dhabi has opened its doors to the public, boasting the world’s highest suspended hotel suite.

Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi, the hotel boasts 283 guest rooms including 55 lavish suites, many of which offer stunning views of the Arabian Gulf.

Arguably the hotel's stand-out feature is the suspended Al Hosen penthouse suite, which is located on the 49th floor and is spread over 360 square metres. It boasts a grand entrance hall, dinning room with living area, separate study, kitchen, spa, gym and dressing room and is priced at a cool $5,445 per night.

The hotel is also home to an array of other opulent amenities including a helipad, exclusive VIP entrances, a dedicated butler service (including an innovative eButler service, which allows electronic requests to be sent to your butler at any time) two restaurants, six bars and lounges, a beach club, a swimming pool and a library.

St Regis is the second hotel owned by the Starwood Group to open in Abu Dhabi, with the Emirates state already home to the Saadiyat Island Resort.
