St Regis Maldives Offers Guests a 20m Luxury Yacht

By Paul Joseph

Inspired by its rich maritime heritage, the Maldives outpost of St. Regis Hotels & Resorts has offered a unique service for its well-heeled guests which gives them access to a lavish 20-metre luxury yacht.

American businessman and real estate mogul John Jacob Astor, founder of the St Regis hotel brand, purchased the largest private yacht in the world more than 130 years ago, which he named ‘Norma’.

Now St Regis Maldives has continued this history of luxurious service and hospitality on the high seas with an Azimut-built flybridge 66 yacht with space for up to eight day guests and a crew of four.

The yacht has two decks, four bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen, a barbecue, and indoor sound system, while it also offers a signature butler service and sunset champagne.

The yacht costs $25,000 to charter for one night, or from $14,000 per day, for up to eight hours. An overnight stay includes full board meals and is available for up to six guests. Reservations can be made through contacting the resort’s official butler service.

Owner by Starwood Hotels and Resorts, St Regis Hotels & Resorts currently has a wide number of ultra-luxury properties across the world, including in Asia, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe.
