Superyachts.com Attends De Grisogono Party In Cannes
As the curtain prepares to fall on the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, luxury jeweller de Grisogono ensured it went out with a bang on Tuesday by hosting a lavish party attended by some of the world’s biggest stars.
Taking place at the Eden Roc Hotel on Cap d'Antibes - an exclusive location on the Côte d’Azur - the "Crazy Chic" evening, hosted by de Grisogono founder Fawaz Gruosi, drew more than 400 guests from the worlds of show business, fashion and Hollywood.
Superyachts.com partied into the night alongside famous names including Naomi Campbell, Adriana Lima, Quincy Jones, Goldie Hawn, Rob Lowe, Ivana Trump and Harvey Weinstein, with several guests draped in extravagant outfits and daring jewellery for the occasion.
Throughout the evening, guests were able to admire the latest designs by de Grisogono who used the event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its Instrumento N°Uno watch collection – an iconic watch range inspired by Pop Art.
On arrival, guests were invited onto the hotel’s opulent terrace to enjoy a cocktail of petits fours before the official ceremony was launched by some of the evening’s celebrity guests.
A live hip-hop show kept guests entertained before a troupe of models paraded through the venue adorned in exquisite jewellery. Another highlight of the evening was when a brand new luxury Maybach limousine was unveiled.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous dinner at the Eden Roc restaurant, before an exclusive performance by singer Cheryl Cole, while DJs Queens of Noize ensured the dancefloor was full into the small hours.
