Swarovski Crystal Studded Merry-Go-Round Sends Heads Spinning
Following on from their creation of a giant Christmas tree decorated with crystals in Kuala Lumpar last year, iconic crystal makers Swarovski have attempted to go one better for this year’s festive season by designing a fully functioning crystal embedded merry-go-round.
The sparling structure has been erected at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s premium shopping destination and has already attracted large numbers of awe-struck onlookers.
The merry-go-round’s unveiling ceremony took place last week in the presence of a litany of national celebrities, including Debbie Goh, Elaine Daly, Joanne Yew, Lynn Lim, Thanuja Ananthan and recently crowned Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2016 Serene Lim.
Additionally, the event was graced by Neelofa and Venice Min, both of whom are long-term associates of the brand.
The evening saw an alluring opening performance led by renowned Malaysian dance sensation, Suhaili Micheline, showcasing Swarovski’s 2016 Holiday Collection, followed by the lighting ceremony by Mr. Aymeric Lacroix, Managing Director of Swarovski’s Consumer Goods Business
