Swarovski Unveil App-Controlled Smart Chandelier
Iconic crystal makers Swarovski have created an innovative collection of chandelier light pendants that can be controlled via a smartphone app.
Called the Infinite Aura Swarovski Crystal Ceiling Pendant, the collection has been created by a design firm named Ideo for Swarovski, with its pieces featuring an array of dazzling Swarovski crystals strategically placed within the light fixture’s circular design
The avant-garde design comes with a ring of metal that is lined on the inside by Swarovski crystals which reflect the light emitted by the LEDs integrated into the chandelier.
In the centre of the ring is a mirrored glass plate that reflects the crystals and light to give an infinite refection.
Owners can control the LED lights using an app that lets you choose from different modes that offer distinct lighting effects.
The Infinite Aura collection by Swarovski will be available this summer at authorized Swarovski Lighting retailers with prices ranging from $2,000 to $5,000.
Founded in Austria in 1895, Swarovski is one of the world’s most famous luxury design companies.
