TeeIt golf systems for the yacht deck

By superyachts.com

For golf-mad yacht owners, days spent at sea no longer have to mean time spent away from their beloved sport. American company TeeIt is the creator of a selection of inspired systems for those who hate to leave their clubs at home.

With a diameter of 90 centimetres, the company can easily conceal the round computer-controlled TeeIt 6000 machine in the teak surface of a yacht’s upper deck. It takes only a touch of a button to raise the green teeing-off mat from the floor, and the 250 balls can be delivered at a rate of one per second if required.

The teeing surface features a sensor that automatically tees up a ball when it recognises the club being swung without the need for a teeing aid or any bending down. Sensors also control the height of the tee.

The perfect accompaniment to an on-board golfing system is a supply of bio-degradable golf balls, especially for those owners sensitive to environmental concerns. Indianapolis based Eco Golf Balls supplies the balls which are created to decompose completely within 96 hours of hitting the sea water.
