Tequila Enemigo Teams up With Private Jet Firm For California Expansion

By Paul Joseph

Award-winning luxury tequila brand Enemigo has already established itself as the discerning drinker’s tipple of choice across New York and London, and now it is vying to conquer another hugely significant market – California.

Currently available across over 70 prime locations in New York and The Hamptons and over 200 stockists globally, the 7-times Double Gold and Tequila of the Year award winner is preparing to expand to the West Coast this Fall.

To kick off its California expansion, Enemigo will partner with Southern California’s leading private jet charter firm, Latitude 33 , to become the signature tequila of the fleet , available on request.

“The response since we brought Enemigo to the US has been exceptional, but this is just the start for us,” says Robin Clough, CEO of Tequila Enemigo.

“We have always been the underdog against the big players, but our product and subsequent award wins are speaking for themselves with new requests coming from California increasing daily.”

Enemigo offers two elegant and smooth tequilas: Enemigo A ñ ejo Cristalino 89, best enjoyed from long stem flutes and in elegant cocktails, and Enemigo Extra A ñ ejo 00, aged for over 3 years in New American barrels.

Both tequilas are produced in the town of Tequila, in Mexico’s Jalisco State, the home and birthplace of the spirit

Enemigo can currently be found across some of London’s most prestigious drinking spots including The Ritz, The Connaught and Annabel’s.

Meaning ‘Enemy’ in Spanish, Enemigo was founded in 2013 by a trio of young entrepreneurs, Robin Clough, Max Gilbert-Davies and Sebastian Gonzalez.
