Tesla Introduces Supercharger Valet Service
California-based electric car makers Tesla have launched a Supercharger valet service designed to make waiting for a charging spot a less uncomfortable activity.
The company has put out job listings for Charging Experience Specialists, whose job will be to take charge of vehicles that need to be charged and ensure that the owners have the assurance of receiving their cars all charged up after a stipulated time without leaving their areas of comfort.
The service will also offer benefits including managing onsite customer demand, understanding customer feedback, conducting field research, and educating customers on products and services, including optimal charging options.
The first of these services has already been set up in California, with drivers of electric cars receiving support at Superchargers around the state.
Tesla Motors was founded in 2003 by business magnate, investor and inventor Elon Musk. Late last year the company confirmed that its latest creation, the Model 3, will start production in 2017.
Tesla also revealed they may be close to unveiling their own version of an autonomous car.
