The $2,400 Don Vino wine table

By P. Joseph

Fine woodwork company Chicone Cabinetmakers are offering custom-built wine tables inspired by the shape and materials of oak barrels used for storing wine in underground cellars.

Able to hold up to 16 bottles of wine, the hand-crafted tables serve as stand-alone pieces, resting on four hand bent legs that resemble the round shape of oak barrels typically used in regional wineries.

Designed to showcase wine collections, the upper part of each table is covered with glass, enabling those sitting around it to view its contents.

Vincent Chicone, founder of Chicone Cabinetmakers and a third generation woodworker, told Superyachts.com: “I respect the living nature of my medium and work with the wood to create a special product that combines art and nature, form and function.

“The Don Vino is an original furniture design. It is truly a one-of-a-kind heirloom that seamlessly melds convention with design.”

Customers can choose from a range of exotic and American Hardwood materials for their custom table, including oak, cherry, maple and walnut.
