The £6,000 Riviera Humidor from Linley

By Paul Joseph

Linley’s Riviera Collection received wide acclaim when it was unveiled several months ago, featuring a range of furniture pieces and accessories inspired by the glamorous yachting world of the Côte d'Azur.

Amongst the stunning new collection is the Riviera Humidor, made from rosewood and dark stained walnut with sycamore stringing, and priced at £6,000.

The humidor, which is lined with Spanish cedar wood, also features a nickel and glass circular ‘porthole’ style window and comes with a high-tech Cigar Spar to ensure optimum humidity.

The launch of the Rivieira humidor by the renowned British furniture maker follows the recent release of its Britannia Collection, also featuring a lavish humidor, as well as a jewellery box, both created in honour of the Queen’s Jubilee and the London Olympics.

Founded by Lord David Linley in 1985, the company is also set to announce plans of a collaboration for the 2012 London Design Festival, which takes place in September.
