Illustrious British gunmakers James Purdey & Sons have unveiled an extravagant new belt buckle made from steel and rose gold and inlaid with fossilised mammoth tooth.

Priced at £10,500, the Roland Iten R81 high-precision mechanical belt buckle is the result of a collaboration between Purdey and the renowned inventor Roland Iten.

Hand-crafted and using the finest Swiss watch-making skills, the spring-loaded buckle is available in natural or blackened steel with rose gold and special inlays, and finished with hand-crafted and stabilized fossil mammoth tooth from the prehistoric wooly mammoth.

The Roland Iten R81 is available to purchase from James Purdey & Sons’ flagship store in Mayfair, London.

Established in London in 1814, Purdey has become one of the world’s most famous makers of bespoke guns and rifles.
