The £21,000 Crystal-Encrusted Loudspeakers
French company SOEE Soundesign have designed a stunning range of omnidirectional loudspeakers, including a gold crystal-encrusted version priced at over £21,000.
The sound specialists have produced two model ranges – ‘Drop’s’ and ‘Up’s’ - which come in a variety of alluring designs that enable them to be positioned in different ways throughout the home.
The egg-shaped ‘Drop’s’ can be placed on floors or furniture, while the angular ‘Up’s’ are designed to be fixed to ceilings.
Amongst the loudspeaker range is the extravagent 'Drop's 22 carats' model, which is encrusted with five-hundred 22-carat Swarovski crystals.
Delivering 360-degrees sound, the speakers are made with a black, white or custom enamel painted wood and stainless steel finish. They boast a frequency response of 60 Hz to 20 kHz, sensitivity of 86 dB and an impedance of 8 ohms.
Prices for the standard models start at £1,165.
