This 32.01 carat square emerald-cut diamond is set to be the jewel in the crown at the Christie’s Jewels: The New York Sale.

The stunning flawless, D colour diamond has been mounted as a ring, designed by famed Manhattan jeweller David Webb, flanked by two pear-shaped diamonds between 1.5 and 1.61 carats each.

Preview tours of The Annenberg Diamond will be made available in key collecting centres in cities including London, Geneva, Hong Kong, and Los Angeles prior to the sale at Christie's Rockefeller Galleries.

Carrying the prestigious Annenberg name, the diamond is sure to become one of the biggest sales for the autumn season.

The jewel possesses an esteemed history, originally belonging to the late Leonore Annenberg, herself a passionate philanthropist and art collector. Along with her husband, the Annenberg Foundation has generously given approximately US$4.2 billion to cultural, medical and educational institutions.
