Art and travel have always stirred the imagination and now the chance has arisen to indulge both passions in one unique vacation.

The opportunity is part of a collaboration between boutique scarf brand Babooshka Boo, luxury experts VeryFirstTo.com and high-end travel agency Hurlingham Travel, who have teamed up to create a sensational trip that takes in locations around the world that have inspired famous pieces of art.

The month-long six-country tour will take couples to the locations that inspired 12 masterpieces by renowned artists including Cézanne, Monet, Gaugain, Renoir, Hockney and Seurat.

Participants will receive six Babooshka Boo scarves, whose exquisite designs are also inspired by settings around the world.

Marcel Knobil founder of VeryFirstTo.com, said: “We are delighted to be working with Babooshka Boo – its scarves are artistic wonders in their own right.

“This never done before trip is an extraordinary opportunity to visit the stunning settings that prompted many of the world’s most famous paintings”.

The trip starts in London, England to visit Westminster, the location of Turner’s famous impressionist masterpiece depicting the burning of the Houses of Parliament. Next up will be the English county of Yorkshire, where David Hockney created the bold and vibrant ‘Garrowby Hill’.

The global adventure also takes in several towns in France as well as Japan in the Far East, where couples will visit Mount Fuji and see the landscape that inspired one of the best known pieces of Japanese Art – Hokusai’s 'The Great Wave’.

Vesna Milinkovic, owner of Babooshka Boo said of the trip, “I find landscapes greatly inspiring. I chose the scarves for each country in this incredible trip based on the essence of what I feel from either the painting in terms of colour and style, or what I know of the culture of the particular location.”

The trip was curated by Hurlingham Travel and VeryFirstTo.com, a website offering newly launched luxury products and experiences.
