The Big Bang Unico by Hublot
Swiss luxury watch brand Hublot arrived at the prestigious Baselworld fair in Switzerland last week armed with a dazzling array of new timepieces.
Amongst their latest creations on display at the event, which came to a close today, was the Big Bang Unisco, which builds on the distinctive design of Hublot’s Big Bang collection.
Available in four models - Titanium Ceramic, Titanium, King Gold Ceramic and King Gold – the new timepiece is the first in a new line of Hublot products designed to house all future versions of the UNICO Manufacture movement.
Hublot recently announced their intention to produce all movements in-house within the next 3-5 years.
Boasting a 45.5mm case, the Big Bang Unico features a flyback chronograph which can be reset at any time, and a newly-designed screw-down crown with overmoulded rubber.
Additionally, for the first time since Hublot’s first Big Bang model in 2005, the Unico’s chrono pushers are round, with piston-style finishing.
Baselworld 2013 ran from March 27th – April 3rd.
