The Britain Travel Collection by Burberry

British luxury fashion house Burberry have created a new collection of timepieces tailored towards travellers seeking reliability and endurance.

The Britain Travel Collection, which was designed in the UK but crafted in the watch-making mecca of Switzerland, features a range of timepieces billed as offering the highest levels of practicality combined with bold styling.

Limited to 100 numbered pieces, the Britain Travel Dual Time boasts a dial featuring a two-hand sub dial, enabling the watch to display dual time with maximum accuracy. Other notable features include a large date function at 12 o’clock, colour details on the face, a red rubber cushion between the case and tungsten bezel, and a black-plated titanium case and alligator strap.

Available in a choice of black titanium or stainless steel, the Britain Travel GMT Automatic features a second time zone function with the 24-hour clock displayed between standard time markings. The watch also comes with incabloc shock protection system, a custom-made rotor with engraved check. a black leather strap with red or yellow contrast stitching, an ardillion buckle and a 40-hour power reserve.

The automatic winding Britain Travel Chronograph comes with a 43mm stainless steel polished and brushed case with textured black-plated stainless steel and yellow rubber bezel, a 40-hour power reserve and incabloc shock protection system.

Burberry have confirmed that the collection will be available online and in Burberry retailers worldwide from September 2014.

Burberry was founded by Thomas Burberry in 1856.
