The Chambord Bottle by Donald Edge: Sweet fashion at a price
Wrapped in gold, studded with diamonds and glimmering with pearls, the world’s most expensive bottle of spirits is pure pleasure and flashy fashion.
This stunningly bejewelled bottle of Chambord is a unique one-off design born from a union between jeweller Donald Edge and the French liquor company.
The orb-shaped bottle will be hand-wrought from 18-carat yellow gold and adorned with over 1,100 exquisite-cut pear and round shaped diamonds, a square-cut emerald diamond, and a selection of top-quality round pearls.
Valued at US$2 million, the bottle of Chambord will be submitted for the Guinness Book of World Records' title of Most Expensive Bottle of Spirits.
Created to celebrate the new theatre version of the Audrey Hepburn classic Breakfast at Tiffany’s, the bottle will be fittingly launched at London Fashion Week on September 22.
Breakfast at Tiffany’s stars Anna Friel and will be on show at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, as will the glamorous bottle in the Chambord bar on the Opening Night.
