The sterling silver Fender Telecaster comes wrapped in natural black alligator skin from Louisiana, and features black diamond and sterling silver volume knobs, a selector switch set with rubies, and six handmade diamond tuning keys set in sterling silver.
Founded in 2010 by David King and Brian Shore, the Nashville-based company manufacture some of the most opulent and unique guitars in the world, with designs incorporating fine gemstones, precious metals and exotic materials.
With prices ranging from $20,000 to $2 million dollars, their client-base remains broad and includes guitar enthusiasts and musicians, high-end art collectors, and lovers of luxury goods.
“One individual will play the guitar on stage; another collector might put it on their wall to admire the unique beauty,” Rock Royalty CEO Brian Shore told Superyachts.com.
The company pledges never to duplicate a design so that each piece remains totally unique.
Shore added that with the right expertise, there are no limits to what can be produced:
“We are a true luxury design house with the infrastructure and talent to customize almost anything.
“It wouldn't surprise me if we work with the Guinness Book and a music client to create a $1 million-plus project.
“We also have the capability to produce corporate pieces to assist in marketing a brand, product launch or lobby art. If a client can dream it, we can execute on it.”
Other pieces designed by Rock Royalty include a custom Gibson Les Paul, set with almost 50 carats of black and white diamonds, priced at $125,000.
