Combining the coveted core values of luxury, technology and beauty, the Fisker Karma electric supercar is an eco-friendly industry leader.

With a form and performance-level belying its environmentally-friendly mechanics, the Karma features dramatic proportions and sumptuous design.

To achieve zero emissions, the Karma utilizes Q-DRIVE plug-in hybrid technology; a system developed by Quantum Technologies exclusively for Fisker Automotive.

When the Karma is fully charged it burns no fuel for the first 80 kilometres and begins operating as a normal hybrid vehicle once the range has been exceeded.

The hybrid system kicks in with the gasoline engine turning a generator to charge the lithium ion battery.

The Fisker company approximates that a Karma driver who charges their vehicle each night and travels less than 80 kilometres per day can achieve an average fuel economy of 2.4L per 100km each year.

The interior, designed by Henrik Fisker to be both elegant and stylish, has sufficient space for four adults and luggage to travel in complete comfort.

Initial production of the Fisker Karma is predicted to be 15,000 vehicles a year with a starting price of US$87,900.

Fisker Automotive is an American “green” premium sports car company that aims to create a range of attractive eco-friendly cars that refuse to compromise on luxury or performance.
