The French Riviera’s Priciest Home: Yours for $69 Million
For high-flyers with $69.3 million burning a hole in their pocket, the most expensive property on the Côte d'Azur can now be theirs.
Called Villa Alang Alang, the eight-bedroom mansion recently played host to a private-impromptu performance by iconic musician Sting for a select group of patrons from the music industry.
Boasting a stunning cliff-hanging location, the property has three entertainment spaces and a private nightclub and cinema.
Other notable features include a 25-metre swimming pool that overlooks the town of St Tropez and the Mediterranean Sea.
The extensive 3.25-acre plot also has its own private beach, a state-of-the-art gym and spa, and a well-manicured garden.
“The beach is incredibly popular with kids, and as far as we know Alang Alang is the only property on the Riviera with this kind of feature,” says Knight Frank’s Riviera CEO, Fredrik Lilloe.
“There’s just less reason to leave this place, and in fact, we’re seeing guests cancelling loads of things in order to just stay at the property and enjoy, relax, work out at the massive gym and visit the spa, things like that.”
Until its owner finds a buyer, Villa Alang Alang is available to rent for a cool $415,000 per month.
