The Happy Sport Watch Collection by Chopard

By Paul Joseph

World renowned Swiss jewellery house Chopard has created a new series of lavish timepieces called Happy Sport.

The series comprises of these medium-sized watches that come studded with a sparkling dial, and three colour variations – blue, orange and turquoise.

“An idea of enabling diamonds to shine more brightly by freeing them from their retaining settings and enabling them to move about freely,” the company said in a statement.

Happy Sport was first created in 1993 by Artistic Director and Co-President of Chopard, Caroline Scheufele – also creating for the first time a blend of diamonds with steel – considered as a “bold” act of fashion judgement. It stuck, and has over the years seen several happy collections.

Founded by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in 1860, Chopard has grown to become one of the world’s most renowned luxury brands.
