The Marbella Club Opens Revamped Rudi’s Bar

By Paul Joseph

Marbella Club, one of southern Spain’s most acclaimed beach resorts, has a new string to its luxury bow in the shape of a lavish new on-site bar.

Called Rudi’s Bar, and named after the resort’s original General Manager, a colourful character named Count Rudi, the bar offers guests the chance to sip cocktails while listening to the dulcet tones of a gifted pianist into the early hours.

As for the décor, the bar boasts velvet sofas and roaring fireplaces that help to create a cosy, bohemian sanctuary.

Rudi’s Bar joins the resort’s impressive line-up of services and facilities that include an innovative wellness offering and array of dining options.

Another highlight is an extensive Kid’s Club that’s led by a dedicated team of qualified teachers and bilingual guides who run group activities including flamenco-dancing, perfume-making, and gazpacho-making using locally grown ingredients from the resort’s own vegetable and herb garden.

For the more artistically inclined, art easels and pottery await, while adventurous types can join swimming lessons, archery and yoga, and an array of seaside activities.

Perched on the shores of the Mediterranean sea, Marbella Club is home to a total of 115 luxurious rooms and suites, along with 15 villas.
