The Marble Seating Unit from Kreoo
Marble design specialists Kreoo, an offshoot of Italian firm Decormarmi, have created a unique set of consoles, tables and stools that together resemble an island of furniture.
The OASI Collection, created by renowned Italian furniture designer Enzo Berti, was showcased at the Salone del Mobile furniture show that took place recently in Milan.
Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the island seating unit is made of marble with heat-treated ash wooden seats.
Customers can purchase a single piece, or arrange a selection together to create the ‘island’ effect. Aerial views of the islands were inspired by tropical coral reefs found in the Indian Ocean and the Pacific.
Located in Vicenza, Italy, Decormarmi was founded in 1962.
