The Meisterstück Collection by Montblanc

By Paul Joseph

German luxury goods brand Montblanc has created a new collection to mark the 90th birthday of its iconic pen – the Meisterstück.

The collection contains a range of leather goods, timepieces, jewellery and writing instruments, all bearing hallmarks of the classic Montblanc dedication to craftsmanship and design and created to commemorate the Meisterstück pen which was first produced in 1924.

An assortment of writing instruments includes the quintessential 149 Fountain Pen, Classique and LeGrand Fountain pens, and a Rollerball and Ballpoint, each crafted in precious black resin with red gold-plated fittings and a nib hand-sculpted from solid gold.

The timepieces comprise four models, offered in 39mm or 41mm diameter, each with a manually fabricated movement and the Montblanc emblem on the crown crafted in solid red gold or steel.

The Montblanc Meisterstück Collection will be available from this month in Montblanc boutiques worldwide.

Montblanc was founded by the stationer Claus-Johannes Voss, the banker Alfred Nehemias and the engineer August Eberstein in 1908.
