The New RM33-01 Automatic Watch by Richard Mille

By Paul Joseph

Among the array of lavish watches set to be displayed at the 2015 SIHH watch fair in January will be a stunning new creation by Swiss brand Richard Mille.

Available in titanium, red gold or white gold with a caseband in grade 5 titanium, the RM33-01 Automatic boasts a sporty design, combining the curvature of the brand’s tonneau cases with the constructions characteristic of its round watches.

A new skeletonized RMXP3 caliber drives the RM 33-01 and has an off-centre platinum micro rotor, revealing the grade 5 titanium movement.

The graphic style of the numerals add to the watch’s dynamic energy, while their outsized dimensions offer a dial with perfect readability, whilst allowing the wearer to admire the complex movement and its bridges in grade 5 titanium, drawn by hand and PVD treated.

A 45.70mm tripartite case is mounted on a rubber strap secured with a folding clasp, also in grade 5 titanium, while the watch also boasts water-resistance to 30 meters.

The RM33-01 Automatic will be on show at SIHH in Geneva, Switzerland from 19th – 23rd January.

The Richard Mille watch brand was founded in 2001.
