The Oyster Perpetual Datejust Pearlmaster 34 by Rolex

By Paul Joseph

World-renowned British watchmakers Rolex have created a new addition to its highly popular Oyster collection of timepieces.

Called the Oyster Perpetual Datejust Pearlmaster 34, the stunning timepiece for women features a number of sapphires, diamonds, and rubies delicately embedded into the dial.

The watch comes in three versions - white gold, yellow gold, and a special version of rose gold called Everose created exclusively by Rolex – with each model boasting silicon Syloxi hairspring technology that increases the power reserve to around 55 hours.

Other notable features include a state of the art caliber 2236 movement manufactured in-house, and a five-piece solid link Pearlmaster bracelet made from 18-carat yellow, white, or Everose gold, plus an optional diamond-set bracelet.

The Oyster Perpetual Datejust Pearlmaster by Rolex is available priced at between 24,500 and £66,700.

Founded by Hans Wildorf and Alfred Davis in London in 1905 as Wilsdorf and Davis, Rolex moved its base of operations to Geneva, Switzerland in 1919.

Today the brand is the largest and most prolific single luxury watchmaker, producing about 2,000 watches per day.
