Tom Ford Unveils Limited-Edition Eyewear Collection for Japan Market

By Paul Joseph

World renowned American fashion designer Tom Ford has created an exclusive new eyewear collection featuring strikingly over-sized shapes and silhouettes.

Made in Japan, the limited edition collection is exclusively available for the Japanese market and represents an innovative fusion of technology and fashion.

The collection comprises two different styles for both men and women – the Dalloz Optimized and the Divel Fotocolor.

The former features a polarizing filter with technical colours, while the latter comes with a new photochromic lens that darkens and lightens automatically in line with the brightness of the sun.

Pieces from the collection are characterised by lightweight metal design constructed using high-quality materials. Each frame is engraved with the iconic Tom Ford logo on the side.

Born in 1961, Tom Ford gained international fame for his turnaround of the Gucci fashion house and the creation of the Tom Ford label before directing the Oscar-nominated film A Single Man.
