Trek District Carbon bike is a chain-less performer

By superyachts.com

Turning up the style factor and loosing the traditional chain, the newest bike from cycling professionals Trek is their second to feature the innovative change.

A belt-driven system boasts a number of benefits from chain and shifter systems including a lower weight and the fact it won’t stretch or break over time, stays clean and is much quieter.

The District Carbon is the second District model from the American company; the first was their debut production belt-driven singlespeed.

The new Carbon edition ups the features with an OCLV Carbon Fibre frame, handcrafted in Trek’s Wisconsin factory, that makes the cycle both light and strong.

The price tag for the District Carbon is US$3,359.

Trek is a company that aims to change lives through cycling; enhancing riding experience via innovative products, dynamic partnerships, and development.
