T.T. Trunks bespoke pieces for every occasion

By Superyachts.com

Parisian luxury trunk creator T.T. Trunks design completely unique, creative and often unusual luggage pieces of impeccable-quality ideal as stylish extras on the yacht, jet or at home.

T.T. Trunks removes the trunk from its traditional single-function role and enters it in a universe where each separate piece is suited to individual style and habits to ensure it becomes a luxurious and highly useful product.

Each trunk is equipped with electrical outlets to allow its owners to recharge portable devices and enjoy practical day-to-day applications on the move.

The French company creates each custom-built trunk to meet the requirements of each client, and each features specially designed compartments to cater to individual needs.

Discerning customers can choose to fashion their T.T. Trunk from a variety of exotic and exquisite materials in different colours and finishes to make their trunk truly unique.

For the exterior of the trunk, customers can choose from natural cow hide or grained leather, full or smoother calfskin, finely grained or strained lamb skin, or smooth or coated fabric. Possible skins include ostrich, python, crocodile and shagreen which can be finished matte or shiny.

The interior of the trunk may be lined with alcantara, linen, or textile. For those desiring something supremely personal, the craftsman can even engrave fasteners or provide personalised embroidery, hot stamping or Swarovski crystals sewn in.

T.T. Trunks are available in an array of sizes and can be made to fit the office, car, closet contents, wine collection, computer, yacht, jet, or specific carry case.

Like traditional trunks, each features handles, wheels and protection for vertical positioning, making it extremely mobile.

One of T.T. Trunks’ most stunning examples of creation is the Malle Minibar which is equipped for cool drinks, cocktails and coffee whether it be by the poolside, in the office, or on the sun deck.

Included within is a completely silent-running fridge of 60 litres, a coffee maker, full set of glasses, cocktail set, and storage drawers.

Catering to another need is the Valet Trunk, designed as a personal travel trunk. A wardrobe compartment concealed behind a linen curtain holds a coat or jacket, while compartmentalised drawers are clever homes for wallet, shoes and personal effects. There is even a sound dock for an iPod and a recharge port for mobile phones.

Other popular creations include the Champagne Trunk, Cigar Trunk, and Vanity Trunk.

Each trunk is cut, dyed and sandpapered by hand resulting in approximately 250 hours of work to produce just one. Delivery time is generally eight to 12 weeks depending on the trunk’s complexity.

Over 10-square metres of top-quality leather is used for each creation while all metallic components are solid brass and covered with wither nickel, palladium, or 24-carat gold.

The company sells its creations to private clientele as well as some of the world’s finest restaurants and hotels.

T.T. Trunks often display their products at high-end exhibitions during the French season including Index in Dubai, the New York Hotel Show, 100% Design Shanghai, and Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi.
