Ulysse Nardin Launches Blue Sea Timepiece

Swiss luxury watch-maker Ulysse Nardin has released a new addition to its Marine Diver collection of aquatic timepieces.

Limited to 999 pieces, the Blue Sea timepiece is billed as combining a dual function as a diving instrument and a stylish watch.

Water resistant up to 200 metres, it comes in a 45.8mm stainless-steel case specially treated with a sophisticated vulcanisation process giving it a striking blue rubber coating.

A wave pattern adorns the structured strap and dial, whilst the hour markers and hour and minute hands are covered with blue luminescent material for improved readability.

Other notable elements include a self-winding movement featuring a 42-hour power reserve indicator, sapphire crystal treated with an anti-reflective coating, and a unidirectional rotating bezel and screwed crown.

The watch’s durability is strengthened by a black ceramic folding clasp and a blue rubber strap with ceramic components.

The Ulysse Nardin Blue Sea timepiece is priced at $10,900.
