A landmark moment arrived for Swiss watchmaker Ulysse Nardin recently when the historic company opened its first monobrand boutique in the sprawling Indian city of Mumbai.

Located in Borivali, a suburban area in the north-west section of Mumbai island, the boutique houses some of Ulysse Nardin’s most exquisite collections.

Mr. Patrik P. Hoffmann, CEO of Ulysse Nardin, visited the store and took the opportunity to discuss the brand’s ambitions for its Mumbai opening.

“Ulysse  Nardin  has  always  laid  great  emphasis  on innovation and independence,” he said. “Part of the Kering Group, Ulysse Nardin aligns with the company’s unwavering commitment to quality and luxury.

“At the same time, we believe independent retailers are an important part of the brand experience. With this in mind, we open our monobrand Ulysse Nardin boutique in Mumbai, a city as replete with character as it is with the idea of luxury.”

Founded in Le Locle, Switzerland in 1846, Ulysse Nardin is one of the world’s most famous luxury watch brands.
