Swiss watch-maker Ulysse Nardin has introduced a new limited edition timepiece in honour of legendary Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh, its brand ambassador.

Limited to just 50 pieces, the Yuvraj is a special variant of Ulysse Nardin’s popular Executive Dual Time watch, renowned for its time zone quick-setting complication.

Each of the 43mm watches, which are priced at £8,100 (€9,500), comes in a stainless steel and rose gold case, and has been engraved with the sportsman's signature.

Other notable features include a calibre UN-24 movement, a ceramic bezel, anti reflective sapphire crystal, and alligator leather with folding buckle.

“As a child it was a dream to own a luxury watch,” Mr Singh said.

“Now at 30, I not only own a watch but also have my name associated with the world’s most prestigious watch brand.”

Ulysse Nardin has been making high-quality, prestige timepieces since 1846.
