Underwater Hotel Opening in Great Barrier Reef

The aquatic wonderland of the Great Barrier Reef in Australia is set to open its first ever underwater hotel.

Called the Reefsuites, the hotel will allow guests to spend the night submerged under the blue water with enchanting corals and a dazzling array of marine life to keep them company.

The residence will boast just two rooms, both of which will be able to sleep a total of four, with guests given the option of a king double or twin singles.

The room also come with a glass-walled ensuite bathroom and floor-to-ceiling views of the spectacular underwater world of the Great Barrier Reef.

Additionally, the package will also include breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon teas, and dinner along with a dining experience under the stars.

As well as the underwater rooms, there will also be accommodation on the pontoon’s upper deck

Guests opting for either of the two packages will be transported to the hotel via a scenic cruise through the Whitsundays while being treated to a host of luxury services and amenities.

A stay at the underwater Reefsuites will cost $749 per person, inclusive of meals.
