Vacheron Constantin Celebrates Chinese Year of the Goat

By Paul Joseph

Vacheron Constantin has become the latest luxury watch brand to commemorate the Chinese Zodiac by launching a new limited edition that marks the Year of the Goat.

The edition comprises two handcrafted timepieces, each limited to just 12 pieces, and available in a choice of platinum or rose gold.

A leaf motif inspired by classical Chinese iconography is etched directly into the watch’s metal dial, while an engraved goat sits on top of the watch face and behind the sapphire crystal case.

Other notable features include a Calibre 2460 G4 mechanical self-winding movement equipped with a 22-carat gold oscillating weight, a choice of dark blue or dark brown alligator straps, and a 40 hour power reserve.

The Chinese Year of the Goat takes over from the Horse on 19th February 2015.

Founded by Jean-Marc Vacheron in Switzerland in 1755, Vacheron Constantin has grown to become one of the world’s most famous makers of luxury timepieces..
