Versace to Collaborate on Luxury Residences in China
Italian fashion house Versace has entered into a partnership with Chinese company Mind Group to create a collection of luxury homes in China under its existing banner of ‘Versace Residences’.
Located in the city of Chengdu, Southwest China. the residences will be housed within a 68-floor building and will offer home units boasting up to 4,305 square feet.
The residences are the visual brainchild of Versace artistic director Donatella Versace and will blend the company’s Italian craftsmanship and style with elements borrowed from local Chinese heritage.
The project is expected to be completed in 2017, with individual units going on sale at the end of this year.
Founded by Gianni Versace in Italy in 1978, Versace has grown to become one of the world’s most famous fashion labels.
Versace already has a number of property projects around the world, including the Milano Residences in Manila, the Damac Tower in Beirut, and the Damac Residences in Jeddah.
